The 2018 Africa Climate Week will convene on the theme, ‘Climate Action for Sustainable Development: Driving Change in Africa’. The events of Africa Climate Week will focus on NDC support and implementation, the SDGs, and Global Climate Action. ACW2018 is the first of what is expected to be an annual gathering. It aims to support implementation of countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement and climate action to deliver on the SDGs.

- High-level sessions with the Champions of the Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action
- High-level ministerial session
- Talanoa Dialogue
- LEDS – Low Emissions Development Strategy – Workshop
- Climate Technology Centre and Network Workshop
- Technical Expert Meeting under UNFCCC
- NDC Partnership Workshop
- Emissions Trading System Simulation
ACW is organized by the Nairobi Framework Partnership (NFP), which supports developing countries in preparing and implementing their NDCs.
