The Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius has announced its admission as a plenary member of the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) effective from December 27, 2023. This membership will enable the FSC to actively contribute to climate and environmental risk management in the financial sector, sharing best practices and supporting the transition towards a sustainable economy. FSC’s participation aligns with its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, strengthening Mauritius’ commitment to sustainable finance.
